Final Weekend of the Countdown to June 15
It’s the final weekend before the Constitutional budget deadline of June 15th. For the last 10 days, we’ve been taking daily action together to keep the pressure on our legislators in Sacramento to maintain existing revenue streams and oppose a dreadful spending cap.
With the deadline for a budget quickly approaching – you can imagine now, more than ever, it’s important that we keep the momentum going and show our united strength in support of a responsible budget that puts seniors, families, people with disabilities, and children above corporate and other special interests!
Take Action: Update your Facebook Photo!
Show your support for a budget solution that includes revenues and doesn’t “cap” California’s future TODAY by updating your Facebook profile picture to the HHS Network logo OR the “Spending Caps = Endless Cuts” logo! Not only will this show the world that you support a responsible budget that doesn’t force any more dangerous spending cuts to essential programs and services for the most vulnerable Californians, but it also goes a long way in showing that we are united in our support for a strong health and human services infrastructure!
Show your support today! Update your Facebook profile picture to the HHS Network logo or the “SPENDING CAPS = ENDLESS CUTS” logo!

And while you’re at it – take a moment this weekend to post a comment on your Facebook profile wall or Twitter account about why it’s important to you that California passes a budget that maintains existing revenue streams, or why you think a spending cap that locks-in low-level funding for our essential health care and human services is a bad idea!
