Take Action to Support Gov. Brown’s Budget Revenues
The legislature is expected to vote on the Governor’s proposed budget as early as Thursday of this week. But some highly-partisan legislators are already attempting to hold the budget hostage by refusing to vote yes on the Governor’s modest $12 billion revenue package.
That’s why it’s absolutely critical that we let our legislators in Sacramento know that countless jobs and lives are at stake – and we need to pass these common-sense and sustainable revenue solutions, including Governor Brown’s proposal to eliminate wasteful tax breaks for private developers as well as close tax loopholes that allow corporations to CHOOSE how their profits are taxed!
With so much at stake, every vote counts! Please take these actions to help pass these critical revenue solutions!
1. Call your Legislators and urge them to continue to support the Governor’s revenue package.
